Sweet newborn photo shoot with 8 day old baby girl

These adorable new parents and their little baby girl came to see me on her 8th day. Ideally newborn sessions are done when the baby is between 7-14 days old so this was great timing.

It does seem silly to think of a 3 week old baby as too old to photograph but it is true the younger they are the sleepier they are and therefore easier to pose and photograph to get the traditional sleeping newborn photos. That being said it is possible to photography babies outside of that window it just may be trickier to get those sleepy photos.

Babies are very happy sleeping and wrapped up so the session does not stress them out when they are cozy and napping. This sweet little gal slept for the entire session and we got through the whole session in just 2 hours!

Before your session you can let me know what colours you would like to use and the overall feel you want for the session. Do you want neutrals, or pinks, greens, blues etc? Do you want a rustic vibe, modern, earthy? You can also send newborn photos you have seen that you like on Pinterest. I can’t copy another photographers work but it helps to see what colours/vibe you are hoping for.

At this time I offer one newborn package that is all inclusive so it comes with family and sibling photos and a minimum of 25 edited photos.
