I have done a few photo shoots for this family in the last few years, starting with the cake smash of their first born son. I did newborn photos once their second son Yoshua was born in 2022. It was a pleasure to see them all again and it was really exciting to see Yoshua for his cake smash a year after his newborn photos! Oh my goodness babies change so much in one year!

Yoshua’s parents requested the Mr. Onederful backdrop and chose the matching suspender outfit that goes well with the backdrop. The photos have a more stylized feel when the outfit matches the backdrop. This backdrop is very elegant and neutral, mostly white black and gold. I added the lighted one sign and twinkle lights to give a bit more more sparkle to the background.

This yummy cake is from Safeway, they were able to add a little bow tie on it, how cute!!

We did the “smash and splash” session, which comes with a bath at the end. For the bath portion Yoshua’s parents chose the crescent moon backdrop, very dreamy and whimsical.

This little birthday boy was very happy and laid back for his session!
