Our little man is 6 years old!

Now that he is older it is harder to convince Xandre to participate in a photo shoot. Believe it or not age 2 was actually easier to photograph!

Due to his increasing resistance in being photographed this year I did not ask him to do a birthday photo shoot at all. His 6th birthday was actually back in January. Much to my amazement this morning he approached me and said he wanted to do a photo shoot! He wanted to wear blue, bring his huggy wuggy stuffy and use the outer space backdrop.

Once he got himself ready and we got into the studio both Oreo and Pumpkin pranced in, curious as always and wanting to be with us.

I have mentioned this adorable cat love triangle before. Pumpkin is Xandre’s cat as he picked her but as you know the cat picks you and not the other way around. It seems he has always preferred Pumpkin but Oreo has always preferred him. At this point he’s warming up to Oreo who I think is very much his cat soulmate.

We captured him with both kitties, blowing glitter and just having a good time. The whole shoot took about 10 minutes and we were done.

Looking forward to all that age 6 brings!
